Rogers to bring “Rogers On Demand Online”

Rogers is getting ready to release Rogers On Demand Online by November 30th (www.RogersOnDemand.com). Rogers On Demand Online will have similar features to the On Demand service most Rogers cable customers are accustom to. Some of the features the current BETA is offering are as follow:
- High-quality streaming video player with full-screen option
- Dim the Lights feature
- Flexible click and drag video control
- Browsing by air date, channel, type & title search
- Most watched & Rogers’ picks lists
- Last Chance list
All this will be available to all current Rogers customers (wireless, cable, home phone, internet).
Rogers is also getting ready to release Rogers On Demand Mobile TV for Q2 of 2010. Some neat features of this are:
- Links to social sites
- Viewing rooms
- Live event streaming
- User-generated playlists
- Rating videos
- Commenting
This is something quite new for Canadians, similar to Hulu in the US.
